It comprises a combination of essential macrominerals and essential trace elements that have good disinfectant, coagulation, and flocculation properties and has been formulated with the South African National Standard for Drinking Water (SANS 241) in mind. This means that any water treated with ONCE, no matter how dirty, fully complies with all Compulsory National Standards for the Quality of Potable Drinking Water.

Ozone-free and No Chlorine Environment
ONCE is 100% safe, tasteless, odourless and is a low-cost water treatment product that was developed by Oxidane in South Africa to help the world achieve the sixth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
This Global Goal, one of seventeen key development priorities launched by the United Nations in 2015, aims to provide access to clean drinking water (and sanitation) to everyone by 2030.
Background: Maureen Boddy (CEO) and Grant Davis (Technical Director), named their company Oxidane, which means water (H20).
They produced a water sanitization product they named ONCE, an acronym for Ozone and No Chlorine Environment.
After the incredible Laboratory test results, they decided to prove the efficacy of their product, by drawing water from the most polluted water in South Africa and ‘drinking it’.
